There are a few steps which need to be taken to set up the facility. All transactions
processed are presented to St George Bank
for authorisation. As such, all merchants first need to open a merchant facility with
St George. Responsive Systems can then process transactions for this facility online.
Funds cleared by the facility can be deposited into any account, even with other banks.
Steps
- Contact us to register your interest. We can then determine
the best setup for your needs and negotiate a fee for the facility, and provide assistance
with your application for merchant services with the bank.
- Fill out and submit an application for for a merchant facility through St George Bank.
The bank will inform you of you merchant facility fees, which are independent of the fees
charged by Responsive Systems to process transactions online. We can help "walk you through"
the application process with the bank.
- Once approved, the bank will provide you with the with merchant identifiers which we
configure into our server which will process the transactions.
- Once configured, we will provide you with software to process transactions and optionally
set up a web payments page if required. Depending on your needs, further customisation of
the service or software is possible but needs to be quoted on an individual basis.
